Master's degree of education is to foster application-oriented and high-level talents for the forefront of fundamental education. Since the first round of pilot degrees in 1997, Hunan province has begun to set up Master's Degree of Education for 11 years. Numerous talents are cultivated for the education at the fundamental level.In this study, 139 academic dissertations in the field of education adminstration, offered by universities in Hunan province from 2003 to 2008, have been adopted as samples and qualitatively and qualitatively analyzed to reveal the characteristics of topic selection. Four chapters are included. In the first chapter, the source of sample dissertations is biriefly introduced and dissertations are classified. With a view to finding researching concerns and features of topic selection, topic slection and its classifications are descriptively elaborated in the second chapter. Based on the established indicators for master's degree of education administration, the existing problems and corrensponding reasons are analyszed in the third chapter.
